Abstract
Background : Postoperative pain control is one of the main concern for the anesthesiologist. Intermittent or periodic narcotic injection can cause inadequate pain relief and undesirable side effects. Balanced analgesia like as mixing of opioid with nalbuphine or ketorolac may lessen these complications without reducing analgesic effects and may reduce the total dose of opioid. We assessed the effects of balanced analgesia using nalbuphine-meperidine or ketorolac-meperidine.

Method : Total 100 gynecological patients were devi
Result : There were no significant differences between groups although pain control effect was excellent in all groups. Untoward effects like nausea, vomiting were least except one case in MN group.

Conclusion : We concluded that mixing of meperidine with nalbuphine or ketorolac would be better than opioids alone¢¥- in pain management with minimal side e:Ffects following gynecological surgery.
